LEADER Jerry Paumier DESCRIPTION

We will be clearing a section of grass and creating a small plaza area around the flag pole. If you have your red SERVE DAY shirt from last year, please wear it!

LEADER Tim Gray DESCRIPTION

We will be spreading 120 yards of bark in borders and spaces to help Boise Parks and Rec prepare for the fall. This is a great job for families. Where closed-toed shoes, gloves etc. If you have your red SERVE DAY shirt from last year, please wear it!

LEADER Brent Jones DESCRIPTION

Trimming trees, weeding, cleaning out storage, planting, painting. Outdoor and indoor work. If you have your red SERVE DAY shirt from last year, please wear it!

LEADER Josh Jenson DESCRIPTION

At Whittier Elementary we will be weeding borders and taking a weed-eater to the entire edge of the property! Please wear work clothes, gloves, and closed-toed shoes.

We will be cleaning up Adams Street, picking up trash on the sidewalks and gutters and removing weeds that are growing up through the cracks. Please note, this is a busy street and this project is not appropriate for small children. If you have your red SERVE DAY shirt from last year, please wear it!

Pick-up trash on the Greenbelt along both sides of the Boise River. This is a great project for people using strollers or those needing to walk at their own pace. If you have your red SERVE DAY shirt from last year, please wear it!

We will remove weeds and pick up trash along the sidewalk on Chinden going East from Veterans Parkway. Trash bag will be provided. Please wear gloves. If you have your red SERVE DAY shirt from last year, please wear it!

We will be creating Scrapbooks for New Moms! 10am-2pm in VineArt Studio on campus at Vineyard Boise. Bring your own lunch. Women and teens 14+. No children. Contact: Sparrow Daenitz

LEADER Terry Voightsberger DESCRIPTION

We will be serving Chrysalis Women's Transitional Living by: - Cleaning their gutters and removing debris - Weeding - Clearing borders - Trimming trees - Cleaning the office parking area. Most supplies will be provided. Bring Gloves, closed-toe shoes, rakes, shovels, blowers, pruners, trimmers, brooms, etc. If you have your red SERVE DAY shirt from last year, please wear it! Chrysalis Women’s Transitional Living provides safe and sober housing for adult women in a healthy, positive, faith based environment. Residents are housed in 3 homes in Boise, Idaho. Our women have recently been incarcerated, are homeless, abused, or are chemically dependent. The residents attend Chrysalis life skills classes two nights a week to learn how to live a life free of addictions. The classes are designed to promote success. Residents are also required to attend a church of their choice and recovery group meetings outside of Chrysalis.

We are collecting hygiene items ahead of Serve Day and on the day-of as well, to support students and families at Whittier. We are collecting regular or family sized: Shampoo Conditioner Toothpaste Deodorant Soap and/or body wash. A Donation Cart is available in the Vineyard Office Lobby for all items.
